The workshop is focused on the investigation of fundamental questions concerning out-of-equilibrium properties of complex flows and complex fluids with theoretical, numerical, experimental and data-driven methodologies. Among other topics, we wish to discuss about open questions concerning control and prediction of statistical properties of Eulerian and Lagrangian turbulent flows, as well as the physics of multiphase and multicomponent fluids at micro- and macro-scales, non-Newtonian fluids, active matter, and animal behavior in complex flows. The workshop is a satellite meeting to the StatPhys29 Conference, and targets a maximum of 80 participants with 10 invited speakers.
